Los Angeles, California (January 26, 2021) – Fama Technologies, the world’s largest social media screening company and leaders in the application of artificial intelligence technology in background screening services, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new member to its Board of Directors, along with the hiring of a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Joining the Fama Board of Directors is Danielle Brown, who currently serves as Chief People Officer at Gusto, a Human Resource Management (HRM) software company based in San Francisco. Prior to joining Gusto, Danielle held leadership roles at two of Silicon Valley’s most well known firms: Google and Intel Corporation.
“It’s an honor to join the Board of Directors of Fama. As a Chief People Officer, I know firsthand that attracting and retaining great talent is one of the most important ingredients of a successful, mission-driven company. Ensuring that talent is aligned with your mission and values, and will foster a culture of inclusion and respect, is key. Fama has a great product and leadership team to help bring insight and intelligence to the talent acquisition process.”
Brendten Eickstaedt also joins Fama as Chief Technology Officer, tasked with overseeing the growing engineering & product teams that help support over 700 clients in 18 countries across the globe.
“In Fama, I have found a company with a mission I believe in: ensuring every workplace is a safe and healthy place in which all employees can grow and thrive, free from toxicity and negativity. By combining advanced AI to sift through and classify massive amounts of public data, and combining it with human judgement to determine what matters and what doesn’t, Fama’s platform provides the missing tools needed to build a complete picture of any company’s job candidates. The team is smart, dedicated, and fun. And we’re focused every day on bringing these invaluable insights to the hiring process everywhere. I’m thrilled to be joining this team, and this mission, as the new CTO!”
