Step 1: Add a candidate
Getting started with Fama is pretty simple. Start by logging in to your dashboard and then enter in your candidate's information for Fama to securely process.
Step 2: View a report
Once you receive an email notification from us that your report is ready to view, head back to your dashboard. In that report you will see a quick preview and a link to the content that you have pre-defined as critical to a hiring decision.
- One of the hardest things about manual social media background screening is finding the right profile. Finding someone with a common name, such as John Smith, can take hours. Fama spent the better part of a year developing human-supervised algorithms that find a person's set of public social media profiles with pinpoint accuracy.
- Our clients define what sort of social content is relevant to a hiring decision - after all, you know your business (and what makes a good employee) better than any one else. We don't "score" people or offer you a thumbs up or thumbs down. Instead, we'll only show you content that your business has asked us to surface, and then let you make the decision.
- The more you use Fama, the more our algorithms learn about how you define a 'good' or a 'risky' hire. Just like popular online radio stations that learn your preferences and push you songs you may enjoy, our background screening software will learn from your interaction, and highlight the types of content you typically use to make a hiring decision.
