Similarly, in programming, an algorithm tells the computer exactly how to process data or complete a task step by step.

This concept highlights the importance of clarity and precision in programming. A common illustration of this is the "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" exercise used in software development humor. If the instructions aren’t detailed enough—like not specifying which side of the knife to use—you could end up with an unintended result.
