Product Release Notes: Global Language Capabilities with Multilingual AI Beta
Fama is excited to announce the BETA launch of our new global language capabilities with Multilingual AI! Building on our long-standing support for multilingual screening, this release makes it easier than ever to surface misconduct across the globe. Now, Fama’s out-of-the-box Behavior Flags can automatically detect misconduct in over 30 languages with no keywords required.
What’s Changing
- Expanded Global Coverage: Fama has always supported global teams by enabling employers to build language-specific Behavior Kits. With this release, we’ve taken a step further: out-of-the-box Behavior Flags now detect misconduct in over 30 supported languages automatically.
- Consistent, Familiar Flagging: Whether a post is in English, Spanish, Korean, or any other supported language, the same Behavior Flags you rely on will surface misconduct. This ensures a consistent, trusted review process worldwide.
- Screen in over 30 Languages: This BETA release allows Fama to screen in over 30 languages including:
Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Georgian, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese.

- BETA Launch: This is a BETA launch. Behavior Flags in new languages are already effective, and performance will continue to strengthen as our models learn and improve over time.
- No Translations: Posts remain in their original language on reports.
- Automatically Added to Your Account: This feature has already been applied to your account at no additional cost.
- Global Adverse News: This update applies to social media content. For global adverse news and web content, sign up for our web translation service.
Who This Impacts
All Fama Essential, Plus, and Pulse customers will automatically have access to this feature for free. Fama 360 customers will see this feature included in their Social Media reports.
This beta feature is included at no additional cost and requires no action to enable.
