Product Release Notes: Bluesky Now Included as a Screening Source

Fama is expanding its screening coverage with the addition of Bluesky as a new source. This enhancement provides deeper insights into a candidate’s publicly available online web presence, reinforcing our commitment to delivering the most comprehensive, AI-powered screening solution available.
What’s New
- Expanded Screening Coverage – Bluesky content is now included in Fama Plus reports and above, giving you expanded visibility into candidate misconduct behavior.
- Comprehensive Text Analysis – Fama captures and analyzes:
- Original posts
- Comments on reposts
- Shared posts
- Replies to posts
- Video Transcription & Analysis – Original videos will be:
- Captured, transcribed and analyzed.
- Behavior Kit Alignment – All Bluesky posts will be screened against your Behavior Kit settings for keyword matching.
- Misconduct Detection – All Bluesky text and transcribed content will be screened for Fama’s 8 types of misconduct and Behavior Kit settings.
Important Details
- The following content will not be included:
- Short video clips
- Comments and replies
- Reposted content (original content from another user)
- GIFs
- Review Process: Will follow the same process as Fama’s other social media sources.
- Post Limits: The number of posts included is determined by the lookback period of the Check Type subscription. There is no limit on the number of posts, as long as they fall within the designated lookback period.
Getting Started
- No action required – Bluesky will be automatically included as a standard source in all Fama Plus reports and above (Fama Essential is not included).
- Effective Date: This update applies to all reports placed after Wednesday, February 12.
- No setup needed – Customers and support teams do not need to take any additional action to enable Bluesky.
