Product Release Notes: Custom Default Behavior Kits
We’re excited to announce the release of Custom Default Behavior Kits—a feature designed to give you greater flexibility and control over your Fama experience. With this enhancement, Customer Account Managers can now set a custom default Behavior Kit for their organization directly within the Company Settings page.
What’s New?
Custom Default Behavior Kits: Customer Account Managers can select a custom default Behavior Kit that best aligns with their organization’s needs. This new functionality simplifies the Add Report process so the most frequently used Behavior Kits can automatically populate in the Add Report forms – making it more efficient to request new reports.
How It Works:
- Navigate to Company Settings: In Company Settings of a company or sub-company, scroll down to the Behavior Kits section. You will see a new “Default Behavior Kit” field.
- Make Your Selection: Use the dropdown menu to select the desired Behavior Kit as the company default.
- Save Your Changes: Click “Save” to update the default Behavior Kit.
Note: The system will log the username of the last individual who updated this setting for auditing purposes.

Once saved, the selected Behavior Kit will automatically appear as the default whenever a report is placed on the Fama platform.
Important Details:
- This is a Company and/or Sub-company setting. The selected Behavior Kit will appear as the default across all new reports run by that company or sub-company.
- Reports can be run with another Behavior Kit by adjusting the Behavior Kit when requesting a new report.
- Only Fama Admins and Customer Account Managers can modify the custom default Behavior Kit setting. Users and Lite Users will not have access to update this field.
- The system will log the username of the last individual who updated this setting for auditing purposes.
Who does this impact?
This feature is available to all Fama customers using the app.fama.io web application.
