Product Release Notes: Enhanced Flexibility and Seamless Access with Dynamic PDF and Single Sign-On (SSO)

Fama is proud to kick off 2025 with two new product enhancements for our customers: Dynamic PDF and Single Sign-On! We’re excited to announce two powerful updates to the Fama platform, designed to improve your user experience, and enhance functionality, security, and personalization. 

What’s New? 

Easily Save and Print Custom Reports Views with Dynamic PDF

Customers using the Fama Plus and Essential web application at app.fama.io can now save or print custom views of Misconduct Reports directly from Fama’s web application with ease.

Here's how it works:

  • Filter Flexibility: Use the filters on the Report Summary page to select the content you want to include in the report.
  • Simple Output: Click the button below to generate a print- or save-friendly PDF view of the filtered report.

Key Features:

  • The custom view of the PDF mirrors the online report view, featuring a blue banner with the company and candidate’s information on the first page.
  • Browser-based rendering ensures all character languages supported by your browser will display accurately.

Troubleshooting Tip:
If the blue banner appears white in the PDF, enable "Background Graphics" in the “More Settings” section of your browser’s print menu to correct the display.

Streamlined Access for Enterprise Users with Single Sign-On (SSO)

Also as of today, we are pleased to offer Single Sign-On (SSO)! Customers using Auth0 and Microsoft Azure AD, Google Workspace, Okta Workspace, Active Directory/LDAP, or ADFScan can now leverage single sign-on solution.  

Please note this will require some simple configurations both on the Fama side and customer side. Fama will need to enable the enterprise connection on our side and configure the login schema using the customer’s ID and secret. The customer will need to authorize the connection and configure any routing URLs. Additional setup may be required.

Who Do These Updates Impact?

Fama customers who use our new web application at app.fama.io have the ability to use these features. The Dynamic PDF feature is already available for use directly in the web application. Customers can request SSO starting today.

These enhancements provide greater flexibility and control before, during, and even after you login to Fama and manage your reports, ensuring a more streamlined and efficient user experience.
