Product Release Notes: Fama Integrates with X, Formerly Twitter, Through Enterprise API
We’re happy to announce some recent developments to our solution! Recent changes to the Twitter platform, now known as X, requires organizations to revamp the way they screen on this essential platform. With these updates, we are reaffirming our commitment to modernizing online screening for workplace misconduct, screening at the pace of candidates and the platforms they live their lives on, and continuing to be an industry leader in online and social media screening solutions.
Key Features & Enhancements:
#1. Twitter/X Enterprise API Integration:
We're proud to announce that Fama Technologies is now one of the few companies in the HR Tech industry—and the only one in the screening industry—with a Twitter/X-approved Enterprise API license. With this integration, we now have uninterrupted and ongoing access to all publicly available Tweets ever published on the Twitter platform as well as new Posts shared on X.
#2. Improved Screening Capabilities:
Our Twitter Enterprise API access ensures comprehensive screening of Twitter and now X profiles and content, even as Twitter/X has introduced limitations on the number of Tweets and new Posts that can be viewed or shared and the ability to scrape data. Unlike other solutions, Fama's capabilities do not depend on manual screening or data scraping methods, ensuring a reliable and robust screening solution for Twitter/X data.
#3. Dynamic Lookback Periods:
The newer features enable Fama to dynamically apply lookback periods based on specific use cases. This means we can now provide a complete narrative of a person’s public Twitter and X history extending up to seven years for FCRA use cases and unlimited lookback for non-FCRA use cases. This depth of detail allows for more informed decision-making when it comes to hiring and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
#4. Enhanced Risk Coverage:
Leveraging Twitter/X’s API means we have complete access to one of the most active social media platforms, which is a hub for valuable behavioral insights. With 80% of the misconduct Fama finds originating on Twitter, and increasing amounts on X, this new integration ensures the best-in-class risk coverage for our clients.
#5. Scalable Screening Solutions:
The Twitter Enterprise API integration allows Fama to screen an unlimited number of Twitter/X users. This increased capacity ensures that no matter the scale of your requirements, we can meet them effectively and efficiently.
We're committed to providing you with the most robust, comprehensive online and social media screening solutions in the industry. As always, we value your feedback. Let us know what you think about these updates!
