Product Release Notes: French Translated PDF Reports

Release Date: October 30, 2026

Fama is excited to announce that we now support French-translated report generation to better serve our Canadian clients and help maintain compliance with Quebec's Bill 96 language requirements. Previously, generated PDF reports rendered exclusively in English. With this release, organizations can easily generate reports in French to meet regional mandates.

What to Know

  • Company Level Configuration: Administrators can enable a dedicated Fama French template to generate report PDFs in French.
  • Customizable Copy: Users have the flexibility to retain the default French legal disclosure or customize the text to match specific client-provided legal language before saving changes.

What’s New on Fama Reports?

When the Fama French template is configured for a company or sub-company, ALL generated Fama Plus PDF reports will automatically render in French. This comprehensive translation includes:

  • All system labels
  • Section headers
  • Behavioral analytics
  • Legal disclosures

Known Limitations

  • Report Types: Currently, only the Fama Plus misconduct report is translated. The summary and document portions of 360 Reports are excluded from this release.
  • Language Availability: Languages other than French are not supported at this time.

Who can access French-Translated PDF Reports?

This feature is tailored for Canadian and Quebec clients to seamlessly meet Bill 96 language mandates. It can be accessed and configured by administrators managing report settings at the company or sub-company level.

If you have any questions about how the French Translated PDF Reports work or need assistance configuring this template for your account, please reach out to your Account Manager or our support team at support@fama.io.
