Fama Technologies Expands Global Footprint with New Leadership and Localized EU Data Storage

LOS ANGELES, California — September 17, 2026 — Fama Technologies, Inc., the AI-native platform for online background and behavioral screening, today announced two additions to its leadership team and the launch of a new data center in the EU, a combined investment that deepens the company's commitment to the UK and EU markets. The moves arrive as the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rolls out expanded non-financial misconduct rules, raising the bar for how regulated firms screen and monitor employee behavior.

New EU Localized Data Storage Center

Fama is opening a new data storage center on AWS infrastructure in the EU, ensuring that personal data collected on behalf of EU customers stays within EU borders. For organizations navigating GDPR and country-specific data residency requirements, this represents a continued commitment to privacy-by-design and compliance readiness built directly into Fama products, so there is one less thing standing between a growing company and the confidence to hire well, everywhere it operates.

New Leadership Investments to Fuel Go To Market

Fama also announced two additions to its executive team. Kev Stone joins as General Manager of EMEA, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the background screening industry. Most recently Director of Sales & Marketing EMEA at Accurate Background, Stone also held senior regional leadership roles at ADP, HireRight, and Kroll. Based in the UK, he will lead Fama's strategy across the region as the company scales its European presence.

Alexandra Yndo joins as VP of Marketing. She previously led global marketing at TrustArc, a privacy, risk, and compliance software company, where she built and scaled the marketing organization spanning demand generation, product marketing, and brand. Yndo brings nearly two decades of B2B marketing leadership, including senior roles at Corel and Mattersight, to Fama's go-to-market strategy as the company expands internationally.
