Product Release Notes: Access to Historical Reports for Migrated Clients
As clients migrate to the new Fama dashboard, some clients have reached out to Fama Customer Support to access historical Fama reports submitted by others in their organization. Today, we are releasing self service capabilities so clients can access all historical data and reports from the old dashboard. This ensures seamless access to data, an essential aspect of business continuity and analysis.
What’s New?
The three big features about this release include:
- Unrestricted Access to Old Reports: Clients who have migrated to the new Fama user experience can now view all old reports from their company within the old dashboard. This enhanced visibility is available regardless of role. Clients do not need admin access or be the original requestor of the report to access older reports.
- Comprehensive Report List: Clients can now view a complete listing of all reports ever requested by anyone in their company, even if the original requestor is currently inactive or has been deactivated. This ensures that no critical data is lost in the migration process and that all historical information remains at the fingertips of the users.
- Limitations: While clients can view past reports in the old Fama dashboard, clients must use the new Fama dashboard for continued functionality including for all new report requests, the ability to create new users, edit existing users, and more. This ensures data integrity and control during the transition phase.
Benefits to Users
This update is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance user experience and provide seamless service during transitions. We believe this feature will greatly aid in maintaining business continuity and allow our clients to leverage their historical data effectively.
That includes benefits to clients including:
- Business Continuity: Clients can access valuable historical data and reports on their own at any time in the old Fama dashboard.
- Ease of Access: These self service capabilities streamline the process for retrieving old reports, saving time and effort.
- Comprehensive Data Availability: Offers a holistic and easy-to-read view of the company's past reports.
