Product Release Notes: Introducing Enhanced Email Notification Options
We are happy to introduce our latest enhancement – enhanced email notification options. This release allows clients to choose whether they want email notifications when a report is finished, giving clients more control over their email notifications and user experience with Fama.
What's Changing?
Until now, whenever a report was completed, both the client administrator and the requesting user received email notifications. While this ensured that everyone stayed informed, we understand that flexibility is key. That's why we've added this new feature, which allows you to customize your email notification preferences directly from the Fama platform.
How Does It Work?
With this enhancement, Fama clients now have the freedom to choose who receives email notifications when a report is finished. The options are:
- Admin Only: Clients can opt to have email notifications sent only to the admin, which is ideal when centralized communication or streamlined notifications are important.
- Requesting User Only: Alternatively, clients can opt to send notifications exclusively to the requesting user, which can help reduce email clutter for admins and ensure only those directly involved receive notifications.
- Both Admin and User: For clients who want to maintain the existing email notification process, this option ensures both the admin and the requesting user stay in the loop when a report is completed.
- Neither: Finally, clients also have the choice to turn off these email notifications altogether and choose to access reports within their dashboard.
Why Is This Important?
We understand that every organization is unique and calls for different communication strategies. Some may prefer comprehensive updates, while others require more focused notifications. This feature increases flexibility and empowers clients to choose their preferred communication and notification style, improving the user experience while also providing a more efficient and personalized workflow.
