Product Release Notes: Comprehensive YouTube Coverage with YouTube as a Premium Source

Fama is proud to introduce our newest premium source: YouTube! In August, we announced new enhanced YouTube Capabilities, which screened the titles and up to 200 characters of descriptions for misconduct. Now, we are proud to announce full screening capabilities for YouTube long-form videos and Shorts! This feature marks a major step forward in social media screening, opening Fama customers up to screening on the second-largest social media platforms in the world.
What to Know
- YouTube as a Source: Customers now have the ability to screen all original content from a candidate's YouTube "Videos" and "Shorts" tabs, whether it's 2 minutes or 9 hours!
 - Content Screened:
- Video titles
 - Up to 200 characters of the video description
 - Cover photo
 - Full audio transcription

 - Extensive Post History: Screen all posts within the lookback period.
 - AI-Powered Analysis and Keyword Matching: Content is analyzed and flagged for behaviors and matched keywords in the Behavior Kit.

- Same Report Turnaround Time: YouTube as a Source will not impact customer turnaround times.
 - Subscription Requirements: YouTube as a Source is a Premium Source, available for purchase. The previously announced enhanced YouTube capabilities are still available for free on Fama Plus and Pulse. Please contact your Account Manager to add YouTube as a Source to Fama reports.

What’s New on Fama Reports?
Flagged content on YouTube will display on reports with:
- Cover Photo
 - Link to Video
 - Text from Title, Description, and Audio Transcript
 - Post Date
 - Flag Type

Known Limitations
- Content Screened vs. Content on Reports: Fama will screen entire videos for behaviors and keywords in the Behavior Kit, but will only display the video title, up to 200 characters in the description, the cover photo, and up to 2,000 characters of the audio transcript.
 - Coverage: Likes, reposts, and comments will not be screened or included on Fama reports.
 - Post Date: Videos posted over a year ago will show a date of December 30th of the year it was posted due to YouTube's use of relative timestamps (e.g., "2 years ago").
 - Language Coverage: Screening on YouTube is in English only.
 - Transcriptions: Some posts may experience transcription issues, which will be indicated as such on the report.

Who can purchase comprehensive YouTube as a Premium Source?
All Fama Plus and Pulse customers will be able to purchase YouTube as a Source. Fama 360 customers will receive YouTube as a Source automatically for free.
We're committed to helping you make hiring great people easy, and the addition of YouTube as a Source is a significant step toward that goal.
